Open Gem is proud to announce our partnership with The Musicianship for this year’s DC Funk Parade. For 2022 the parade has been transformed in to a festival along the historic U St Corridor. There will be a main stage at Vermont & U St NW where 3 lucky winners from our 07.25.22 Songbyrd show will performing alongside some of the areas premier talent.

Later in the day we will have the Open Gem Stage at the corner of 14th & U St NW in front of the Reeves Center as a part of the Community Corner. This portion will run like a traditional Open Gem event. Performances are first come first served and must be clean music. Early arrival is suggested as this event usually draws thousands!
