How Do I Sign Up to Perform?

Our Open Mic events are open to all genres and types of performers. Sign Up starts at doors. Performers are selected by lottery unless otherwise stated. See Show Dates for hours of the event. Early arrival is highly suggested for performers.

Where Do I Send My Music?

Once you sign up in person, you will be sent a text message on where to email your music.
Music submissions are NOT accepted ahead of time.

How Long Is A Set?

Sets are limited to 4 minutes to allow as many artists as possible the opportunity to perform. However, you are allowed to combine songs as long as it is one mp3 or wav file and does not exceed the 4 min set limit. We reserve the right to cut a set that exceeds the 4 min limit.

Do I Have To Pay To Perform?

At Open Gem we only charge a cover to get in the venue. That’s for everybody. Performers, Managers, Videographers, Fans, Family, Friends, etc one price for all.

Can I Have A Feature On My Set?

Yes! Keep in mind this does not extend the 4 minute set limit.
